Stimulus Information

The new Stimulus bill passed by Congress and signed into law by President Obama (2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) has many items for funding for physicians and interconnectivity of EMR systems. This bill will NOT provide grants to physicians to procure an EMR but it will incentivize providers to use an EMR and have it operational fully by the end of 2010.

There are many public interpretations of the stimulus bill today and some of the better ones are posted here. This could help you in understanding what this new law may mean to COEMR customers.
